Our live workshops are the latest in our series of creative resources for fun and out-of-the-box Computing at home.

Switched on Sound - 7 July & 10 July
Switched on Sound gives learners the opportunity to explore some of the history of computerised music, including automation, punch cards and the development of digital music by composing your own multi-tracked piece of music using a Nintendo LABO piano or recycled cardboard in Part 1.

Shape Calculator - 14 & 17 July
Shape Calculator teaches learners the importance and relevance of calculating the internal angles of shapes. Combining Computing and Art, in this workshop you'll draw a variety of shapes and pictures by following a series of instructions. Learners will then create their very own shape calculator in Scratch!

Eco Gamer with Elle Osili-Wood - 21 July
Eco Gamer has been developed by Digital Schoolhouse in partnership with BAFTA. Following the success of Football Manager 2020’s environmentally friendly packaging, SEGA would like you to design your very own social media campaign that will raise awareness of how packaging can be designed to be more planet friendly.
